I refuse to get a real tree (or a taller fake tree) until I get a condo. But I couldn't go this year without a tree so I purchased this bad boy for five bucks.

Parade
Snapped this from my window. Apparantly there was a parade the day after Thanksgiving and all the marching bands were getting revved up on my street. Later I saw a few floats go by after the parade was over.
